I’m Joe King, owner and coach of Lift Run Eat. Growing up, I played football, basketball, baseball, and soccer in the West Michigan area. The different sports I played all had one thing in common—strength. You had to be strong to be competitive in each of these activities.
The first time I stepped in a weight room, I was 10 years old. The age to enter was 13. I would sneak in until I was told to leave. Ever since then, I have loved training.
I’ve noticed over the years, people want to become healthier but have no idea where to start. They read they have to train 7 days a week and eat only certain foods. Then, after a month, they give up. It’s not that they don’t like training, but no one is showing them how to train or proper nutrition habits that they can use forever.
My programs are designed to teach everyone how to do strength and endurance training and how to create good nutrition habits that last a life time.
